Cookie Policy

What are Cookies?

Cookies are information placed on your browser when you visit a website or use a social network with your PC, smartphone or tablet. Each cookie contains various data such as, for example, the name of the server it comes from, a numeric identifier, etc. Cookies can remain in the system for the duration of a session (i.e. until the browser used for web browsing is closed) or for long periods (maximum 1 year) and can contain a unique identification code.

What are cookies for?

Some cookies are used to perform computer authentication, session monitoring and storage of specific information on users who access a web page. These so-called technical cookies are often useful, because they can make browsing and use of the web quicker and faster, because for example they intervene to facilitate certain procedures when you shop online, when you authenticate to areas with restricted access or when a website automatically recognizes the language you usually use. A particular type of cookie, called analytics, is then used by website managers to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site, and therefore develop general statistics on the service and its use. Other cookies can instead be used to monitor and profile users while browsing, study their movements and web consultation or consumption habits (what they buy, what they read, etc.), also for the purpose of sending advertising of targeted services and customized. In this case we are talking about profiling cookies. It may also happen that a web page contains cookies from other sites and contained in various elements hosted on the page itself, such as advertising banners, images, videos, etc. In these cases we are talking about the so-called third-party cookies, which are usually used for profiling purposes.

The cookies used by our site

Technical cookies
Technical cookies are those whose use does not require the user's consent. These cookies are essential to allow you to browse a website and use all its features. Without these cookies, which are absolutely necessary, a website could not provide some services or functions and navigation would not be as smooth and easy as it should be. A cookie of this type is also used to memorize a user's decision on the use of cookies on the website. Other technical cookies are those that allow, for example, the saving of preferences relating to the language or the shopping cart.

Sitebuilder - Flazio
This site was developed on the Sitebuilder - Flazio platform, therefore it uses cookies implemented by the aforementioned platform. The stored cookies concern those who have registered an account on the Flazio blog and those who comment on the articles. All these cookies are persistent and are released to ensure a better browsing experience on this site.

Third party cookies
These cookies are used to collect information on the use of the site made by users in anonymous form such as: pages visited, time spent, origins of the traffic of origin, geographical origin, age, gender and interests for statistical and corporate marketing campaigns. These cookies are sent from third-party domains external to the site.

Google analytics
Our pages use third-party performance cookies from Google Analytics (service offered by Google, Inc.) to allow us to anonymously collect and examine visitor behavior while using the site and to improve its usability and user experience. They are termed anonymous as they cannot be used to identify specific individuals. Through the use of the Google Analytics panel, it is possible for us to understand if the visits have been made by new or returning visitors by checking the navigation method of the pages (entry link, exit link, movement between pages, permanence times, geographical origin, etc.). It is possible to disable the action of Google Analytics through the tools provided by Google.

Social networking buttons and widgets
To ensure that the contents of a site can be shared on social networks by visitors to the site, it is possible to integrate the tools (widgets) made available by the social networks themselves into the pages. These tools (usually blocks of code inserted in the pages of the host site) can collect third-party cookies installed by social networks (for example Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.); the site does not share any information with these widgets.

For more information about the cookies of the main social networks, you can visit the sites:
