Finally, I come across an art exhibition deserving of this term.
Authentic ART that conveys great emotions and the perception of depth in thought, action, technical knowledge, and professionalism.
The exhibition S/NODI, open from July 13 to August 11 at the Chiostro di Voltorre, a prestigious venue that further enhances these wonderful works, features pieces by the five very talented artists (Aldo Ambrosini - Fausto Bianchi - Grazia Giani - Luca Lischetti - Vito Scamarcia) who compare themselves in terms of language quality and depth of thought, a beautiful mix that makes the exhibition a showcase of FINE ART as hard to find in the various exhibitions that are held successively with questionable professionalism in our area.
I visit several exhibitions in Varese and its province where I often note the repetitive presence of mediocre-level artists, sometimes with good skills to develop. Unfortunately, these artists often only seek gratification, throwing themselves blindly into the arms of more or less prestigious or stale curators rich in free flattery and goals that certainly do not aim to develop a fruitful artistic path or good promotion.
Even the audience that attends these types of events is always the same, relatives and friends of the exhibitors, while it would be desirable for the exhibition to target a wider audience, those who usually do not have the opportunity to interact with the artist.
Innovation, freshness, use of new communication tools, collaboration, new venues, etc. seem to be terms that scare these "curators" or "groups" and, at best, they respond with mistrust.
There is no possibility of the slightest interaction with these realities that instantly show dissent and caution, as if they could sense potential dangers of aggression towards the podium. This is not love for Art, the promotion of Beauty, and the support for artists in a world that has already changed so deeply.
In the exhibition S/NODI, I perceived, in addition to the emotions arising from such different yet equally profound languages, also and above all the pleasure of seeing five artists FREE to act and organize themselves independently, offering a quality I had not seen in a long time. This is an aspect of great importance showing how true artists know how to move forward, not without difficulties, always with their head held high and without compromises.
Let's look at authentic Art, the one that can unite different languages in such harmony, and let's fight so that it can survive in the world with the same autonomy and without being tarnished.
Congratulations again to the Artists ALDO AMBROSINI, FAUSTO BIANCHI, GRAZIA GIANI, LUCA LISCHETTI, and VITO SCAMARCIA.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to all those who have worked hard to offer us something so beautiful!
The exhibition S/NODI will be open from July 13th to August 11th.
Opening hours: Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 15:00 to 18:30, also during the evening musical events organized by the Municipality of Gavirate.
